Department of English (General Foundation)

The Department of English plays a foundational academic role under the Four Year Undergraduate Programme (FYUGP) system. We offer General Foundation Courses in English to all undergraduate students across Science, Commerce & Management, and Humanities disciplines.

Our focus is on developing robust LSRW skills (Listening, Speaking, Reading, Writing), academic communication, and essential life skills as per the **CUFYUGP Regulations 2024 of the University of Calicut**.

Teaching Approach

Activity-based learning including group discussions, role plays, mock interviews, and content creation.
