Meetings & Decision Making
The IEC conducts regular meetings to discuss and plan examination-related activities. These are held at regular intervals or as deemed necessary by the Chairperson. Participation by all members is mandatory to ensure robust decision-making.
The IEC Office
A designated space equipped with necessary infrastructure, including computing resources, printing, and CCTV surveillance. The office maintains secure records of question papers, answer scripts, and confidential examination materials.
Conduct of Examinations
1. Schedule
The IEC finalizes and communicates the examination schedule in consultation with the Principal well in advance, ensuring students and faculty have adequate preparation time.
2. Question Papers
Coordinators arrange question papers with answer keys. All papers undergo moderation by designated faculty to ensure quality and fairness.
3. Hall Arrangements
The cell ensures proper seating plans, invigilation, and facilities. Rules regarding conduct are clearly communicated before every session.
4. Invigilation
Appointed invigilators maintain a secure environment. Any instances of malpractice or misconduct are reported immediately to the IEC.
Declaration of Result
Results are compiled and published within a reasonable timeframe as per university guidelines. Every result undergoes a thorough authentication process by the Convener and IEC members before publication.
Re-Examination Policy
Retests may be authorized based on established criteria for students unable to clear the initial exam. Re-examinations are conducted under the same strict conditions as original sessions.
